kosmunity update โ 9/21/2022

First, thanks to each of you for helping to support the channel. Whether we're face-planting on an Astrolab laser at the absolute beeeest time or just desperately hoping that dyzv0r's Official Mom can hit that next sniper shot, it's always a pleasure.
We've had some incredible adventures since our last update. Our bloodmoon Spooty Protuberance Estate in Darkest Dungeon is humming right along, albeit with some tragedy sauce to complement the victory burgers. The Vvulf is down, but he took VVULF Primeโa level 5 Leperโdown with him. The Viscount is also down, which means that we're Zestfully clean and clear of any crimson curse in the hero roster. We're in week 58 and it's time to start thinking very seriously about diving into the Darkest Dungeon itself. My professional advice to you is to watch that ass, Shuffling Horror.
In The X-COM Files, we're really getting into the meaty stuff now. We've got a second base in Sri Lanka that's just a few in-game days out from being able to deploy agents independently. Our research tree is progressing ever closer to the Promotion II milestone, which is essentially a progress gate that will open up a ton of new weapons and capabilities. Black Ops-grade weapons, Desert Eagles, better protective gear for our agents, and probably a ton of awesome shit I don't even know about yet. I love this game, and special shout to Xavin for helping me get up and running with the mod, as well as guiding me through the inscrutables.
It felt awesome to return to Cursed Sword Friday in Dead Cells last week. We didn't get victory number 20, but we came damn close. We made it to the end of the Astrolab, to the Cavern, to the Sepulcher, and beyond the first boss several times aside from those runs mentioned. What's more: we succesfully nailed every challenge rift without getting dead from those. Challenge running will always be subject to mood and motivation levels, but it's safe to say that barring any unforeseen developments, our Fridays will be delightfully cursed for a while to come.
And now, a Thing from the Stars haiku:
Oh look, itโs Sky Taint
(Thatโs just what I call the guy)
Iโd prefer Swamp Thing.
Thanks again for tuning in and hanging out on the near-infinite cosmic couch. I know thereโs a lot of places in the universe you could be, and I appreciate you being here. Rock on and happy hunting.
